Community Service Project November 16, 2025 "Historic City of Fayetteville Cemetery"

The S.O.L. Leadership Academy volunteered the time to assist in the beautification of the burial sites of Fayetteville Citizens. In partnership with the efforts of the Georgia Historical Society and the Union Benevolent Aid Society (UBAS), an African-American benevolent organization that was founded in Fayetteville in the 1880s, Academy mentees alongside the Sigma Omicron Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated assisted in the upkeep of the segregated grounds. Through their hard work, African Americans' burial sites were cleared, and headstones were restored.
